I'm a first time boat owner. I went to look at a smaller used Chaparral and I bought a little bigger one after I talked to Justin the salesman about the extra couple of feet making a big difference on the lake. He was right. I took my boat out this past weekend and everything was perfect. The experience from Modern Marine was top notch. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Modern Marine has been absolutely GREAT to work with!!!! This was my first boating experience and I take the blame on buying too small a boat. I'm sure a bigger boat would ride much better so in the next 2–3 yrs I will definitely be back to Modern Marine to buy another boat from them. EVERYONE I have ever dealt with there has been fantastic and I give them and their dealership 10s!!!! They gave me their home and cell numbers should I ever have any questions and being a rookie boat owner, I did have to call them several times on weekends. They were VERY polite and didn’t seem bothered — quite the opposite!! Great people and you're lucky to have them.

Other Cobalt dealers refused to work on my 1993 Cobalt. Not only did Modern Marine agree to take my boat in after the previous mechanic could not perform the repairs, they did so in a very timely manner and kept me informed as to what they were doing and why. The boat has been in our family since new and is a gem, but after 22 years needed serious service. My boat is back on the water and runs better than ever. Thanks to Modern Marine and especially the Service Technicians.

I NEED TO TELL YOU ABOUT MODERN MARINE!!! These people work in concerto with one another and absolutely rock. They helped transfer warranty from previous owner and it saved me tons of $$$ as they were able to get multiple line items taken care of by Harris under warranty. Also KUDOS to Harris for honoring their backing on their product. I'd like to send a special shout out to Cullen, he updated me often on the processes that were going on with the pontoon. I can't say enough good things about Modern Marine. We did not purchase our boat from them, however that has not stopped their entire team from being incredibly responsive and helpful in every interaction I have had with them. Leo in their parts department is incredible, and has gone out of his way to source difficult to find replacement parts. Their service department has answered questions over the phone helping us to fix an issue and get us out on the water. Their sales team made getting a custom trailer for our boat ordered simple and straightforward. Simply put they answer the phone, respond to emails, and go out of their way to make sure every customer experience is a good one. We have two Cobalt dealers closer to us, in fact we pass one on the drive to Modern Marine, I skip the other two because I know dealing with Modern Marine will be a better experience.
